Coaching FAQs
Can you explain what coaching is?
Clients get a creative, non-judgmental, third party listener who only wants to see them grow and succeed. Life coaches instill outside the box thinking in their clients. Coaching focuses on opportunities to develop - not on "fixing" problems - which in turn shows clients how to change their own lives. Coaching is accredited and has a global reach, it helps in many areas of life, and is highly effective.
Do I need to have a big life crisis to work with you?
Nope. You don’t have to be in full meltdown mode to benefit from coaching. If you feel stuck, curious, disoriented, or even quietly craving more—coaching can help you unstick and move toward the life that actually fits.
How do I know if you’re the right coach for me?
Check out my blog, follow me on IG, stalk me just a little. If my words hit somewhere deep and make you feel seen (or gently called out)—we might be a great fit. And if not? I’ll still cheer for your healing from afar.
Can you define what a Life Coach is?
The role of a life coach is to be a facilitator or guide, helping clients discover their best selves. This is done through various communication techniques, growth strategies and monitoring progress. A coach anticipates and prepares clients for life’s challenges and opportunities, focusing on instilling motivation through accountability, expertise, communication and accelerating progress.
What types of clients do you work with?
I specialize in supporting folks who live outside the norm: exvangelicals, neurodivergent humans, poly/ENM individuals, parents of trans kids, women breaking generational patterns—anyone deconstructing what no longer serves them. That said, if none of those labels apply to you, don’t stress. If you’re ready to find your voice, shed the shoulds, and live more fully—we can still do powerful work together.
How is this different from therapy?
Therapy often focuses on healing the past. Coaching is about building the future. We may touch on emotional wounds, but the work we do is forward-focused, goal-oriented, and grounded in reclaiming your voice, values, and vision.
What if I don’t know exactly what I want yet?
That’s exactly where we start. You don’t need a 10-point plan—you just need a willingness to be honest, curious, and open to growth. The clarity comes in the process.
