Challenges aren’t cute.

They’re not aesthetic.

They’re definitely not what you’d choose to feed your soul… but oh, do they grow you.

I Don't Wanna energy

In our latest Permission Slip Granted episode, we’re pulling the curtain back on the hard stuff—the seasons where you’re not bouncing back, where adulting feels like a cosmic joke, and where struggle becomes your not-so-welcome roommate.

We talk about:

  • The difference between staying stuck and choosing to grow

  • The power of knowing your why when shit hits the fan

  • How pain can actually clarify purpose

  • Our very real experiences of surviving burnout, transitions, and identity shifts

And, of course, we had gems threaded through the whole episode, like: “I’m allowed to struggle and still be doing great things.” 🔥 That’s the message.

You don’t have to bounce back perfectly. You don’t have to like what’s happening.

But you can take your pain, hold it with honesty, and let it teach you something.

That kind of resilience? That’s self-trust. That’s self-love.

That’s you doing it scared.

💭 Reflection Prompt:

What challenge are you currently facing—and what would shift if you stopped asking “Why is this happening to me?” and instead asked, “Why is this happening for me?”

Be strong. Do it scared. 💜

ICYMI: I've teamed up with some fellow Jay Shetty Certified Coaches to create a space for more authentic stories to be told, more genuine support offered and more people letting shame go from their lived experience.

Permission Slip Granted (PSG) was born from that desire, bringing together 4 unique coaches/humans/women to share their incredible life stories, their joys, the pain and all the fuck words. PSG has really become a passion project for me, and I cannot wait to share it with more people.
